What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I didn't take any before measurements so I am not sure what the total lift ended up being. I set the 5100's at 0 and didn't add spacers so I doubt I hit the 3" mark. I do have some very very minor vibrations. On a 1-10 scale with 10 being like using a weedeater, I am at a 2. I have not had an alignment yet and what I am feeling may even be tire related - I am not worried about either way since it is so incredibly minor.

Did you have to remove the bumper to get the lights out? Or just loosen them a little.

 

Dropped her off for tranny service after heating it up pretty good getting stuck this weekend.

I stand corrected, I can be happier. The resonator killed all drone and evened out the sound throughout the rpm range. It is a little quieter but it also got rid of that booming noise at 2400 rpm. It also changed the tone a bit. Exhaust sounds meaner, more grunt.

Im thinking about putting my LED lights in the same spot inside the bumper. do you have any issues reaching the clutch on your winch?

There's a light? Do you have a scangauge/ultragauge that can read trans temp?

 

Yeah. Read somewhere it goes on at 302°. I sure hope it wasn't really that hot. I use torque and an bluetooth obd adapter. Didn't have the tranny temp set up at the time. Finally figured it out....after this debacle of course. I'm hoping the angle of the hill just put the fluid below the pan sensor.

Got around to putting my new bedside decals put on.

 

I swapped to my backup tire/wheel combo, after finding a sidewall slice.



I probed the slice with a screwdriver to see how deep it was.

 

Thanks! Burt's lights are the absolute best. I was prepared for the worst and did not even have to loosen it up. I did have to rotate the lights almost 360 and move them towards the center while removing but honestly had them out in less than a minute each.

None what so ever. I can reach it with ease. You should have no issues

 

What do you think? Any other ideas for mods I could do on a slim budget?
