    If that's an apartment complex they should be doing what they can to take care of it, especially if people walk under that spot. That says liability all over it. Hopefully they are aware of it and will address the problem sooner rather than later.

    The rust actually happens from the INSIDE of the frame to the outside. Heat, salt, etc. Are all contributing factors.
