John I looked at the affordable bender but my only issue with it is the 7" radius. Most other benders use a 5" or 5.5" I think so I don't know if you could keep things as tight as you wanted.

They make them with 5" radius...what are you looking at??

Just checked and they sure do. It's been a while since I've looked at them and when I was reading up on them they only offered a 7" radius die.

EDIT: They only do the 5" radius on 1" tube and 1 1/4" tube. The 1.75" die is still 7" radius

Yeah. My buddy has a jd2 m32 but he's 4 hours away lol. I really want to play around with one and rework my flatbed so I can dovetail it some and hang my bedsides.

Gonna hold off on the rods and pistons for now, until I settle on brands/setup.

So instead I blew that cash on cooling stuff. :D Should be a big step forward because I need it to check fitment and hose routing, make brackets, and figure out what specific parts I need for plumbing.

I ended up going with Mishimoto for the radiator and intercooler.

And Derale for the radiator fans and oil cooler.

    Damn! Nice picks!

I know I mentioned this before but it's worth a re-mention; if you want the absolute best con rod, R&R hands down. H-beam billet steal rods from these guys are about as un-breakable as you can get. They claimed over x2 stronger than the best forged rods on the market. Start buying lotto tickets now; they aren't cheap (I think someone on customtaco got a set for $940) :p

I have plans to make it work. I'll loose some space but not much.

One advantage to a JD2 is you can ALWAYS sell it for pretty much the same you paid for it. After I finished my cage I sold my whole setup for the same I paid for it minus shipping costs in 2 days on craigslist. The affordable bender may not re-sell as easy
