    Looks like we're in the clear. Transmission shop said fluid looked used (78,500 on truck with towing 22' travel trailer) but not bad. No burning smell, no codes anywhere in computer. Must have had something to do with the angle of the climb, or just some computer fluke. Flushed, filled, shifting smoothly. :p
    Guess its back to the trail! Especially now that I have Torque reading the temps correctly.

    They changed the design in 08 (I think), in response to the "unintended acceleration" silliness. The older style were thicker and more substantial. The new ones are quite a bit thinner.
