Oh yeah I have basic knowledge. After I get done replaying everything in my steam library, haven't thought about it. I'd like to be able to play current games at decent fps at 1080.

 

Plan on playing with max graphics? Any over clocking or dual SLI/Crossfire GPU's?

 

When you do it I have SSD for cheap.

 

Possibly, never messed with over clocking. SLI would be cool if it fits the budget. Trying to keep it around 1k.

Have to get an SSD. I love mine.

I know nothing about OC or SLI/Crossfire. I believe my computer was right around 800, that's with stock Intel graphics, non OC mobo and CPU. After adding GPU I'll be right at 1k with just the computer, no peripherals.

 

Once you start you can't go back. lol

We have two fully loaded Icon FJs and love them. I liked my KINGs and FOXs on the old truck but the FJ over all rides better on the street. I like seeing all of the billet in the wheel wells too

 

My laptop runs the video stress test on css at 115 fps

 

Nonsense! Billets from icon are badass no matter what, just add some ADS goodies, support a local company, and you wont regret it

 

What's the fun I'm building a gaming pc if you are not going to overclock it? That's the only way to get max power out of a system. Some processors can overclock from 2.3ghz to 5ghz and run stable all day. I've built hundreds of computers and if they are used to game everything gets overclocked. Ram, video cards, hell I'll overclock the north bridge if the main board allows it.

If the PC isn't used to game then I rarely overclock anything other than the processor.

Phones on the other hand are amazing fun to overclock but keeping them cool and stable is a real bitch.

Thanks Alex, and I must be honest, the billet does look damn good doesn't it. I was shocked to see how light these are for the sheer mass and amount of aluminum these UCAs consist of !

I've heard great things about ADS, although I have no personal experience with them. Having to acquire these uppers to correct my alignment issue set back my timeline on installing my Icon 2.5 ext travel remote resi coil overs as that has been my intent ever since Alex rolled back from Cali in his new FJ.

Kinda embarrassed to admit but I'm euphoric over how the truck is coming along . . .
