I wonder if Randy could get that thing designed in CAD for the 8.5. I have enough metal for it plus no bending which is a plus.

You could always do the cut halfway through with a grinder/bend with pliers/weld the seam again method. I think box rocket referred to it as the whiskey bend method when he did his skids that way. See here

I'm almost positive I can get an actual brake to get them bent as needed by the Blue Torch Fab is sexy.

But guess you already ordered the other. I should keep up on this thread better. By the time I read about the problem the solution is already a page in front of me.

No no we are still talking about it. The blue torch is for the 8" diff but most of us have the 8.4" so it won't work. Like to replicate the design of that one though.

So apparently "Toyota/Nissan rail mount +Pack Mount" does not include a pack mount.... little pissed but just off the phone with Rotopax and they are shipping a mount out today free shipping.

Well I guess this will just sit in the box for a few more days.

Rotopax does like to get you with all the little parts being separate. Great products though.

It's not so much that it wasn't included but more so by the fact that it states +Pack Mount and includes a picture of the pack mount on it...I literally clicked "Buy Now" vice clicking on it where it gives you the options for pack mounts.

Needless to say I was pretty pissed with them over the phone and rightfully in my opinion. He gladly offered to sell me one and then I called him out on the fact that I had to pay shipping for something that should have just been in the box...he didn't get it until he looked up what shipping was for just the mount.

That being said the rotopax is slick stuff and will give me some spare fuel without taking up much space in the bed..
