Is my engine exploding?

Why is all that oil stuff on my x member etc?

 

can you tell where the leak is coming from...or what color the fluid is?

 

no because its so slow i think... I put my finger on the x member and smelled it, it didnt smell like much.. and i couldnt tell a color

but its under the engine lol! I dont know anything about engines

 

what do you do for that?

 

i have something that looks like that on my passenger side lower control arm. what could it be thats causing this to show up on my lca?

 

yeah, but could it be whoever changed my oil last's fault?

 

u let other ppl change ur oil? hmm, but that wouldnt lead to a broken seal

Clean it real good and wait. If it hasn't been all that long ago since you had your oil changed it could just be that they spilled oil when removing the filter.

 

yeah its been about 2 months :/

that was my thought, but then its still so wet looking.. shit this is not good

Naw dude.. It can look wet looking for a long time. Seriously Clean it real good and check again in a couple weeks. Even if it is a leak you will be able to see where its coming from. Provided its small enough to not splatter all over the place again. You take it to the dealer and they will replace the seals even if it doesnt need it just to rip some money out of you.

fire it up crawl underneath and see if you can find anything.

note* make sure the emergency brake is on and wear safety goggles
