I thought about that and I plan to keep an eye out and add support to the floor of the bed if need be. The angle iron is 12 inch pieces so hopefully it holds up.

In a way I wish the tubes had bends not cut and welded angles but I didn't feel like capping the ends and filling it with sand and all that jazz but with the tent on there it does look good with the angles.

I was just thinking that. Been quiet here lately.

 

It's been a little too quiet.

 

There's lack o derp lately haha.

I was going through the threads from some of the rausch trips I made it to this past summer and now I'm having some pretty serious withdrawals.

 

I know, I am looking forward to the weather warming up a little to head out there.

I also have a starter issue on the truck that I have to work on, but it's too damn cold to be out there under it. About half of the time I go to start it, I just get a click from the dashboard. If I try it a couple more times, it eventually goes. Have never had to bang on the starter with a hammer, so I suspect it's either the solenoid or the contact in the key cylinder going.

 

Headed south to wheel the first weekend in March.

 

I am going to try and get a trip together when I get home from Florida depending on the weather.

 

Nice! How far south?

 

Could be the starter relay going as well. Having an intermittent start in this weather is no bueno!

Yea, that's the other thing I was thinking. Gonna have to crawl under when it gets a little warmer. I have been trying to keep it close to home recently. Or, just keep it running like I did last time we were wheeling.

Nice! Watch out for their ice storms. When I was in college amongst the Nashvillians, we used to get some crazy ice storms.

Now that's what I am talking about! Been looking at cruises for this summer.

Taking the rtt on its maiden voyage tonight between snow squalls. Took the same amount of time to set up as the stupid wooden cots we have but now I got a real matress lol. Just wish the scenery was a little better.
