    Thanks for posting that!! Always puts a smile on my face it does... sometimes it pays off to be in the right place at the right time.

    This is a video of the build;

    Do you know that it doesnt work? I say we should let the beta testers collect some data, dynos and fuel trims and then we can all make a decision as to whether this product is good for our trucks or just another wannabe throttle spacer. Based on what ive seen so far, I have high hopes for it. The science makes total sense to me, but then again I inhale a lot of solder smoke

    Fuel Mileage is one of the biggest marketing strategies with car manufacturers. If this really saves 1 MPG than why isn't Toyota installing 2$ worth of plastic spacers on everything they sell. I guess if it does really work than Crawford better patent this quickly and sell the technology to the auto manufacturers for billions.

    We actually did patent it before we put it out on the market ;)

    The manufactures have so many hoops they have to jump through that they end up leaving some room on the table for us aftermarket guys to exploit. Most all tuners trim the fuel at high loads / high RPM's when we make stage maps to replace the factory's tune. This product uses the same math as an aftermarket tune but on a smaller and safer scale.

    The increase in fuel mileage comes directly from injecting less fuel, it's pretty simple math.

    Toyota dont even need to install this spacer. It can be done via the flash of the ECU. Cause of this flash, Tacoma running very rich at WOT. I understand the way this spacer is working and basics behind it. In fact it's a mechanical MAF calibrator.

    Their fueling strategies are designed to work across every worst case scenario. Not best. From excessively clogged fuel filters, hot climates, cold climates, severe elevation changes. Install an AFR gauge and get an idea of how rich these engines run when climbing the load scale to 100%. Fuel pigs.

    Correct, they must build in a cushion for many variables.

    Exactly, they could make the exact same changes if they chose to do so.

    Yea, easy order and install. We have three different trucks headed our way for some dyno runs so we can show the before and after power numbers. We're at their mercy for the actual dates though.

    Can't wait to see dyno.
    General question But how does a dyno tell us how mods work when not in wot? Like daily driving or normal accel?
    I know it's off topic but seems we have some professionals in here

    More test data equals more accurate results. Worthy of speaking to them about it. :thumbsup:

    It doesn't, dyno is open loop test. If your normal driving includes open loop that will help, but dyno doesn't tell you about closed loop operation.
