What length Icon's do you have now? I'm in the same situation trying to figure out shock lengths, also undecided on shackle flip. Going to stick with SOA until the off season & I find a fabricator I'm comfortable with.

    Icon 0-2" Lift Rears
    Extended Length: 24.22"
    Compressed Length: 14.92
    Travel: 9.3"

    Icon 2.5-3.5" Lift Rears
    Extended: 26.8″
    Collapsed: 15.9″
    Travel: 10.9"

Well I hate to get all technical on ya' but that title clearly means 6" of lift or more ...as in more lift not less lift. There is a whole MT thread for run of the mill looks like every other truck on the road 3" lifts and their mundane problems :der:

Dont even give that troll attention, you and Arf are always welcome in DB threads considering the knowledge you two have.

Thanks man, I'd like to think I have a lot of knowledge to share. I personally hate when I cannot find answers. There is a lot of that in all threads. My old 6" thread is still monitored by me also, just in case anyone ever wants to do what I did to my old DB.

Buahahaha... Listen here rookie with 4 whole posts and a pile of experience with a 2014 Taco...you might want to look up the word " sarcasm " in the dictionary before busting into this thread and calling someone a troll in your first post. Welcome to the Internet

In all seriousness though Jon...Why do you want to do a shackle flip ? With a properly arched pack to provide the lift you need the inverted shackles perform better and have better road manners too. It seems as though all the guys that do shackle flips are doing it to make less expensive Leaf packs provide more lift and articulation that you already have with your Deavers.

I'm undecided on the flip, said so earlier. If all works out I'll stop at the re- arch and retain my 2.0s. I want to spend very little on the rear and if all goes as planned, I'll be done with it for 160$.

The front on the other hand I need some cash. The good news is I'm halfway there with selling my Icons to Ryan.

If you DO need a CMC, do yourself a favor and hack it back as far as you can. I had to redo my first one for the 35's on 2.5" lift.
