Called the # Left a VM. Wanted to know if I should bring in the truck for the initial inspection so the frame can be ordered. That way I am not waiting longer for the parts/ backorders.

curious if anyone has installed lights in the back of the bed? I plan on installing 4 hellas on top of my headache rack and I'm trying to imagine how the wires would be routed? Would they go through the cabin closer to the bed, or would they be ran to the front of the vehicle and through the firewall? Also each pair of lights come with a relay, can I piggyback 4 lights off one relay? Wiring is obviously not my thang...

Pic. Link to lights with amp requirements? You can come by my place and we can get it all wired up nicely. Or whatever you want to do. I have everything here to make it clean and nice. Done these things a few times if you need a helping hand is all.

Depending on the setup of your truck, I like to route under the cab for a distance. Then, again depending on your setup, run them into the cab under the drivers seat wiring grommet.

Are they the hella waterproof relays? if not, you can put them under the dash protected from the elements.

one of the coolest responses i've received on a forum!

link to the install instructions http://www.myhellalights.com/files/8312/7903/3481/2-wire_auxiliary_lamp_mounting_instructions.pdf

**Edit - instructions kind of suck

I'm pretty good at following instructions, just makes it that much easier with someone who has experience. I'm heading to NC this weekend to pickup a bumper, but will have to definitely sync up with you in the future once i get all my ducks in a row for a one time setup.

Any recommendation for a rocker switch that matches the interior nicely?

If anyone is looking for a new car and interested in a Nissan then let me know. My wife just started selling over at Brown's Nissan in Fairfax and can hook you up with a good deal.

Does anyone know if there are any places that stock truck caps or are they all individually ordered? I've called a few places and they say it's individually ordered, but I'm positive I've seen places before (maybe not locally) that have rows of caps available. I was trying to see if I could get one before doing a road trip soon, but that looks like it might not be possible. Several shops have told me 2-3 week order time.

I hate to tell you to go to the Manassas leer place. Leonards of Manassas or something like that. They have things in stock but yes, most are an ordering thing. Check CL and junk yards for used ones at a great deal or on eBay and on the classifieds on TW here too.

+1for Leonard's. Bought a 7x14 v-nose from them but they have a lot of truck accessories. Might not be the least expensive but they are local.

They are a bag of dicks in my book. Bait and switch, lie to your face, but whatever. They have stock of some items. That was just my experience on a part also.

Takes lots of nonsense to get me going. They definitely got me going.
