We are planning out a lot of new video shoots in 2015, what kind of video content would you like to see next?

 

no idea. maybe a LED bar completely under water in a bathtub for days?

 

Might be a boring video lol but we have our Marine Series to knock that video out

We have some great ideas/plans for our different beam patterns and some in use action content that are going to be amazing!

 

I wouldn't mind seeing one mounted on a bumper get in a front end collision.

Might be a bit over budget crashing tacomas though. Use colorados.

I've seen a few rollovers with roof mounted Rigids that still worked but no head on collisions yet lol

Awesome, this video is what first drew my attention to Rigid.

Would love to see Torture Test 2.0

A couple ideas (safety first ):

- dropped off a cliff
- Light Bar sword fight
- more guns
- run over by built trail rigs
- rock/cinder block smash
- shopping cart protection (for the mall crawlers )
- animal attack
- wood chipper and/or chainsaw
- mud (big puddles, bogs etc.)

 

I don't know if there already is a video for this (probably is), but if not then you should show rocks getting shot at the lights at realistic highway speeds in which they might be thrown from other vehicles. Up here in Alaska there's no shortage of rocks getting shot out of other vehicles on the highway, mostly because of all the gravel they use to provide traction on the roads.

 

So i'm not totally sure what a lot of those tests show.. it seems like the end result is a bar that still "works" but nobody is gonna be happy with a light bar cut partially in half with bulbs not working.

I'd want to see more videos of what the lights can withstand and still be 100% fully functioning, and then also how a Chinese bar compares in the same tests.

 

Well then showing how inferior the china bars are in the same tests would make the Rigid's look even better.

 

I agree 100%, yeah it's cool they'll still work on one half or something but no one is gonna keep a bent light bar or something like that on their truck.

 

That would be very interesting. Show exactly why spending more saves you in the long run.

 

Agreed. Unfortunately I think for a lot of the tests the differences wouldn't be big enough difference to make the Rigids really look any better than the china bars.

 

yeah I'm sure output wise theres some differences but like with the shotgun and saw demo's the china bar and rigid bar are going to do the same thing because they're both wired the same so knocking out a few bulbs shouldn't affect the rest of the bulbs for either brand.

 

I feel the comparison of Rigid to budget imports is like comparing a Kia to a Lexus...they both provide a mode of transportation, but the latter is $40k more for a few reasons - craftsmanship, quality, reputation, materials, longevity. Do you really need to see a video comparison?
