Sean, looks like you had quite the fun weekend!

Is this the infamous Max you have been talking about doing some overlanding videos with?! :D

That was before I got into really building the truck and taking photos of it. Not sure I do anymore but I'll search the computer and my phone for some "in the beginning" shots lol

Nice build! Just curious if having long travel in the front only bothers you? Any problems with the rear not keeping up?bucking? I'm planning on going the same route you are with my suspension but i want to wait a while until i dedicate my rear as i do a fair amount of hauling.

    Thanks

It only bothers me for some daily driving reasons. Overall I love it though.

I didn't build this truck to drive fast over whoop sections or fast over anything for that matter so I'll never experience the suspension not keeping up.

I built it for exploring trails "overlanding" so doing a true long travel rear would be overkill for my purposes. If you look at what's in my bed you can tell this is not a typical truck that sports an LT kit. I went with it to help me get over some obstacles easier/safer and trail driving smoother... Oh and because I wanted 35's to fit easier lol

    Sorry I can't be more help :/

Thanks! I mess around with a Canon 5D MKII with a few various L lenses. I'm still learning how to use it lol I shoot RAW and typically will do a quick adjustment in there but get way to anxious to actually mess around in Photoshop to much. I want to start focusing on it more though soon.

not a huge fan of this photo but it reminds me of those gloomy winter days that I'm glad are gone...

I just started taking any route I could on this mountain with no previous tracks (by myself which is never the smartest) hoping it was a trail and actually ended up scratching my truck pretty bad on the drivers side — some too deep to be buffed out. Ended up in a nasty area I couldn't back out of and was driving on a slope just sliding into the same kind of trees in this photo... this day sucked for my paint!
