    Removed my sway bar. On road manners are definitely worse, but I haven't taken it off road to test yet.

    It wouldn't be hard. You could make a wing nut for the top/bottom and take it off for wheeling. Or, drill a hole through the threaded shank and run a snap pin from TSC.

    Explain more. The problem is you can't get it off without removing skid plates AND if you did figure out how to disconnect/add links there's no place to move them out of the way :/

    You don't take the actual sway bar off. You pull the links completely off and put them in the glove box. I don't know about 2nd gens but I can't imagine it's some crazy different setup from the 1st gens. It doesn't have to be over engineered.
