Ouch! Thanks for the response. I still can't believe how expensive those things are.

What wheel adapter size do you have or is it the backspacing of the rims? I'm glad to see the bumper on your truck. It solidifies how good it looks to me. I'll be buying one! What was the install like?

X2 question. And does that utilize the factory hitch at all? I need something strong to tow a boat

    See my build thread!
Not sure on b.s....The rims and tires where on it when I bought it. I am planning to buy some SCS SR8 rims and new treads very soon.

Bumper install is cake, very impressed with CBI. You do remove the factory hitch. The CBI has a higher tow rating than stock, I believe.

Nice. Did you weld or bolt on sliders? My AllPros came in last night. Read a lot of post but still unsure if I want to weld them or bolt them on.

I would bolt first. Pretty hard to go back from a weld.

An hour (or less) with a grinder would take care of welded on sliders. Just cut through the welds and a bit of clean up and you are done.

But if it has the stuff for bolt on...bolt on then weld whenever you get around to it

Ordered my CBI ditch light brackets, OTRATTW rear camera switch and switch for lights.

Going to do the rear camera anytime mod and move my light pods to the hood as soon as it's all in!

Random question. This might not be the right area to ask but oh well. The otrattw switches... are they difficult to wire? Do you wire to the posts individually or do they have some sort of plug you can wire into and then plug onto the back. That make sense?

Blade plug that you can use a connector with. Easy stuff

Edit: missunderstood your question after reading manwithoutaplans response. I find the connectors kinda big, but they do make it easier to connect and disconnect stuff.

Friday 13th got my Tacoma today, was rear ended by a civic on my way to work. I was stopped and she ran me at about 40 mph, I had my receiver in the hitch so that took most the hit. I was shocked how well the truck took the hit, but looks like my frame might be tweaked. Told insurance I want it checked out so we will see how it goes.

You mean you GOT your Tacoma today, or you GOT IN your Tacoma today?

It sucks either way, but it REALLY sucks if you just got it today.

    Sorry to hear that.

My son had his Frontier rear-ended last week, smacked him into an SUV and now it's totaled. Gotta get him something else now.
