They usually hit up SLP or Bryan. Not sure what beach they're talking about this time. Luckily Mardi Gras will be over if they go to the Galveston area.

Why, need a ramp for an articulation check?

 

Anybody see or heard of an electric fan motor going bad? I installed the Flexalite e-fan kit about 5.5 years ago. A few months ago scanguage was telling me water temp was heating up at slow speed or stopped. After a bit of research it seem that it was more likely the controller. I finally got around to cutting the fan power lines to connect directly to the battery to find for sure if it was the fan or controller, and it was the fan. Fan would only turn if manually started, and then it would turn slowly.

Ended up getting a replacement motor and then r&r'ing it into the kit's shroud. All good now, just hadn't heard of the motors going bad. I figure if I get another 5+ years, chances are good I won't have it anymore.
