Well, we just put an offer in on a house and if it works out we'll be closing right before URE. Making the meet weekend our prime time to get out of the house we're renting now. If they accept our offer I'm pretty much out unless all my shit decides to move itself.

Of course if anyone feels like helping me move that Friday after I close and going to URE that night or Sat AM the food and beer and gas money are on me. My brother is coming down (he still owes me for 8 years of moving him between apartments) and we're prolly gonna get a uhaul so it's not a cry for help :p But a few extra bodies is pretty much the only way I stand a chance of making the meet.

We're moving from the Spout Springs area, up by 09, to Raeford south of post.

I'm getting ahead though, there's a couple offers on the table we're just keeping our fingers crossed.

We almost bought 2 months ago, it was the right house in the wrong town. We put an offer, got beat out by an earlier offer, builder offered to build a new house down the street with the same contract, fast forward a couple weeks, builder can't get the permits and completely changes the floor plan, we can cancel the contract.

A couple weeks of looking at random houses and fruitless searching and the same day our price range goes up 10k one of the houses that was at the edge of our price range dunks 15k for a short sale. We checked it out as soon as I got out of work and it was exactly what we wanted (not counting cottage) exactly where we wanted it (not counting the side of a mountain). We were in the office til 2130 last night doing paperwork. Hopefully we should hear back today.
