I had given them a call. Told me they have to order. I've searched eBay and CL, but no luck finding anything, especially in blue ribbon. Looks like I'll just have to order and wait. It was worth a shot before the trip. I'll probably try to swing by there to check out the features etc anyway.

 

Anyone going to the gun show in Chantilly tomorrow?

 

I stopped going to them a few years ago. When I was younger there were actual deals to be had. Now it seems like all they have is a bunch of junk (Chinese knock off tactical shit) and the ammo is expensive.

I do like that booth that sells Accuracy International rifles though. One day.

 

A buddy was arrested there year ago. Identity theft brings havoc on peoples lives. He filled out the paperwork for a handgun, walked around, then bam. Cuffs, charged with felony's and after long legal battle got it all cleared up . Still money out of his pocket, time, embarrassment, and now longer battle to clear the rest of his record. He has some special card he has to cary now with some sort of authorization info.

Yeah, anything they can do at the gun show, they can do in store.

 

I usually go just to look at stuff in person and see if anyone is really willing to negotiate. It has fallen downhill over the years which is annoying.

Skygear, that sucks to hear about your buddy. I thought the gun-grabbers told us that gun shows didn't perform background checks? haha

 

There is a state police check or something similar. Buddy was surprised. They went looking for him on the floor and arrested him in front of everyone. His fam was there and significant other .

Does anyone have a recommedation for an alignment shop in the Fairfax or Tysons area? being lured in by a seemingly good deal at Sears, they have overwhelmed me with their incompetence and the horrendous customer service! I won't go into details but the last measurements were in spec but the steering wheel is off center and it still pulls slightly to right. I should have known better than to go to Sears! I'm leaving for a road trip this week and hoping to fix it asap. Thanks!
