So me and my folks are in Texas right now buying a new house. on the way back to the hotel it was freaking hurricaning on the highway, we could not see a damn thing. We were doing about 50 in the middle lane but slowing down fast as it got worse. I saw a 4 banger access cab Tacoma pass us on the left lane. then going down a little hill after an overpass there was standing water, and the tacoma going 65+ hit the water then turned right sharply spun out went infront of a mazda and a ford nearly smashing them then he did a 360 on the shoulder then went down into an imbankment then spun around again and then stopped having his head lights facing across the highway, thank God he didnt flip. My dad hit the brakes and avoided an accident. That freaked me out on how quick and crazy it was and got me to think, WHO ELSE HAS HAD A CLOSE CALL LIKE THAT?

I was driving in a heavy Iowa snow storm a couple years ago. I got caught up in the drift on the shoulder and when I tried to get back in the cleared out rut from traffic I ended up doing a complete 180 at about 35 mph. There were cars in front, behind and to the side of me. I then proceeded to spin out down an embankment - had zero control.

My car was turned sideways going down the embankment and somehow, someway my car turned in the right direction and proceeded back up the embankment on the shoulder.

It all happened withing 5 or so seconds and I have no idea how I came out of it without a scrape.

Dude... I was less than 5 minutes from home. I turned right around went home.
Lets just say it was a memorable experience.

I've had a few people run red lights and almost nail me. They get a taste of my train horn now when it happens. I almost enjoy it because of how bad it scares them lol. :headbang:

Oh then I went trailing right after it rained (different time Colin) and I was having fun doing donuts in the mud... truck kindof got away from me and was headed straight for a 5 foot deep ditch. ABS was on my side that day. I was half a foot away from not having a pretty truck.
