Even with my "less expensive leaf" pack my rear suspensions limitation is the stock hanger/shackle binding at full droop. Same as with my "fancy" Alcan's.

The front end will be a project in itself. I am beginning to lean towards doing it at Avid off road so I can have Brandon weld my spindle gussets while we install the UCA, LCA and coils.
It may just have to be a while before I do it so I can have everything I need ready to go. It all depends on taxes that I'm doing this weekend. The CMC won't cost much, and can be easily done while we have it apart.

Its so obvious you're mad, getting worked up over a "rookie". Sorry my life doesnt revolve around my truck and some random internet forum.

Stock vs beef. Some guys run beads on the stock ones but imo that just makes it harder to upgrade!

No LT for me, especially cause I already have the MT setup completed.

I'll just have to do some more research on the coil bucket gussets

The issue is that my heimed uppers need some modification to fit with gussets. TC says they work, just need a little grinding

Yes of course but I believe the fact remains that inverted shackles and a custom leaf pack are the better configuration / better performance overall which after all is why you ditched the DB...to get better performance and do everything " right ". :duel: I believe if you talk to any suspension gurus they will say that the additional range of motion from a shackle " falling " is not ideal travel as the leaf pack at that point is not doing anything. Look at all of the high end rear shackle mods...all fancy inverted configurations.

Disclaimer for those not paying attention - this is humor, sarcasm and good natured ribbing and debate not anger....well there's my new auto sig.

Holy jeebus what part of this don't you understand exactly ? Are you completely devoid of the glorious understanding of sarcasm and humor ? I am only " ribbing " these guys because they are quitters and couldn't handle being 6" closer to the sun and basking in the glory of being able to see the curvature of the earth from their drivers seat which can only be afforded by a DB...that was dry whit, sarcasm and humor...make sense now ?
