Oh man I remember reading a post where a guy was going off on TC saying the gussets fit so bad he couldn't even get his UCA's back on etc... 300 replies and random guesses later someone with actual knowledge asked the guy if he mocked them up properly before burning them in ...nope the dude basically just threw them up there and burned them in without aligning anything or mocking it up. Seems his life was then filled with quite a bit of cutting and grinding.

I'm painting the skid right now... a friend gave me some kind of alienshit epoxy paint and I'm letting it dry real well. I think I can mount it up this weekend.

You too ? Should we get some bitchin rear window stickers made up and make that our official truck club logo ?

When you get the Icons let me know if you need to experiment with diff size / weight springs. I am not going to sell the 14" 600's or the 18" 700's until I am 100% sure the 650's are what I want so I could trade / let you borrow if needed. I miss the suppleness of the 600's but because I have a dbcb and shell and bumpers etc the body roll was fear inducing.

What ever you do DO NOT bake epoxy painted parts to cure them in your kitchen oven when your wife is not home. I'm not saying this is from experience but let's just say the paint fume smell took a week to air out of the house...oops

I think the moisture for the monsoon season is the result of accumulated ball sweat from every male in Phoenix.

Now I am not a rocket scientist nor do I claim to be anything more than a driveway mechanic but I am pretty damn confident in saying that this guy has clearly over looked the potential pitfall of bracing his wheel against the curb for this debacle... I wish there was a meme for a screaming tie rod

The caption says he is torching and bending his bumper to match his new fenders

Yup..and I just noticed his Instagram comment that says " flexing while bending pipe "... If his tie rods don't " flex " back I believe that would be considered more of a " bending "

That's funny stuff. Even with mocking them up properly it's still fun....can't imagine why he couldn't get it to work out ...scary.

I'm sure they'll work heimed uppers and gussets, pretty normal in the LT realm.

Agree with Evenflow that the flip is a "cheap" fix for more droop. wears springd faster and contributes to body roll. I still might roll this summer like that until my rear suspension overhaul is figured out to do it "more right" because I'm already always more rightv then 6"of lift. :STIRTHEPOT:

It's well known that sarcasm doesn't translate over text, so as you said, "welcome to the internet". But seeing as you were just "ribbing them" sorry for the misunderstanding.

Just helped my friend install full pelfrey plate bumper and skids all the way back to the gas tank. You will be very pleased with his work.
Take the Time to mock it up before installing. I would suggest finding a local equipment shop to spray it vs powder coat.
