    haha that would be nasty, reminds me of this home boy who flew his truck off the back cliff in potato salad, he was rallying this old pos f350 and busted his rear drive shaft clean off, then tried it in reverse. with just the front drive shaft. dumb ass kid got out half way up the hill with it in "gear" but with no rear drive shaft nothing stopped it from rolling down the hill and flying into the river. it was crazy they had a big wrecker come, the cops came, kids were dumb asses.

    Mike fucked up his rear drive shaft in the first...less than half mile of cliff hanger. Like 4 obstacles in that first not even half mile. And a open fwd tacoma might as well be turned off. It was that useless. We had a sas crawler with a winch and my truck and we just drug him up every obstacle to get him to the road. It took like 2 hours and we could see it from the road. It can certainly be done. Just takes absolutey forever if youre deep deep In there.

    Was that sas "crawler" that pre taco? Cuz if that's the case that thing doesn't have enough lead in it's ass to do recovery the fast way.

    Ya it's Lauren's dads.
    What's the fast way? Drag and tug? Didn't seem realistic considering the obstacles. We had to winch everything, with me also tugging with 50 feet of strap

    You don't have the weight or torque that I do. not saying it would have been easy but easier for sure.

    If I'm there I'd always be willing to help recover anyone. I'd rather miss a trail run than let someone sit on a trail broken. Having a broken rig is stressful. Having to worry if anyone will help you is even worse. I don't think anyone in this group would leave you hanging.
    (Unless it's during the raffle. Then I'm out). Jk

    Last year I'm not sure how that would have turned out. Probably still in Konsta's favor. This year I'm sure Konsta will win. That or they will both just dig holes.

    Konsta's weight and height will be in his favor. The S/C will also help.

    Not a catastrophic break down but, last time I was out at the Joint in Canyonlands I had to recover a JK high centered in the squeeze near the petroglyphs. He was blocking the trail.
