You don't read many threads on here, do you. Lol. You would be lucky if you get them to type more than the typical response others have gotten... It is no longer covered under the warranty.

It never hurts to ask, all they can say is no. I would brown my drawers if they actually did something for you as the warranty ship has long since sailed.

I got a remanufactured ecm coming for my truck, so I will have to go back to Ames sometime to try it. Hopefully it fixes my issue and I can drive my truck! Then I have to decide if I keep it or sell it.

I don't want to sell it. But as of now I work too much to ever get to use it and if I can't use it it's wasted potential. If it runs like it should I doubt I could bring myself to sell it anyway.

It sucks royally as a daily driver. I drive over 50 miles a day and it has no cruise, the seats are terrible, suspension rough as hell, and with no heavy rear bumper the back end is all over the road. If the new ecu works I'm going to drive it for maybe a week, but I much prefer the plush Acura.

I don't think I will waste money on seats. They are fine for once in a while.

I got my old Tacoma wheels blinging again tonight. I took a little before and after picture too. If anyone is looking for wheels (15x8") and lug nuts (McGard) for their Yota let me know. I will probably throw them up on Craigslist at some point. Once they hit Craigslist I imagine someone will gobble them up for their old GM truck.

Thanks...actually was born and grew up there but moved away. I still come back to visit though and will probably be up in April. Also lived in Omaha for about 18 years. I wouldn't object to living in that area again.
