Aww man, Jim. We're gonna miss you here!! We know you are here in spirit - and remain a brother vet. Let us know how you are doing!!

Had to have a lipoma removed from our 11 year old chocolate Lab, Charlie, today. It began to grow rapidly and went from less than golf ball sized to almost softball sized in 3 months. Biopsied twice before removal and sent out a section after removal. He's got a drain in for a few days and is moving slowly and gingerly. But his tail is wagging. I love this old guy - The Big Brown Butthead aka Triple B.

    I'll jump on this train.

Jim, I enjoyed your perspective on life, I didn't agree with everything, but real men are allowed to do that and still have the highest respect for each other. My utmost respect you earned, and always will have. I'll miss you around here. :(

Just dropped in to see what was going on. Jim is banned, perma banned this time?
That sucks. All he was doing was saying what a lot of other people were thinking...and didn't have the balls to say. I'm sorry to see him go.

Jim, if you're reading this...Fuck 'em if they can't take a joke.

To the rest of you...good afternoon and I hope you're doing well.

    exactly.

They might have been some of the good ones, but how many are out there that want to nothing but kill us?

    Evening all.

    AHHHHHHHH JIM.

Sorry to hear. But it's not like it use to be in the good ol USA...

    Nice work Tom.
It will be over before you know it. I agree subbing it out is so much smarter.

    WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL here we go again.

Another blizzard watch for Sat. into Mon.
    Poss. 18 to 24 inches.
So i started my prep tonight.
    Deiced the units.
    Filled the tanks.
Filled the Salamander. (actually overfilled it :( ).
    all vehicles have enough juice.
Two cans to fill and my truck and i'm ready.
Have to work Sat. so had to do this now.
I talk to my neighbor and i can only see his shoulders and head in his drive.
I think the boat will be in the back till June.. lol.
Anyway, here is a pic of the goings on in the Garage. Sorry its not the best but i have florescent lights and it affects the pics indoors and it's still not real light inside.
I may need to get the roof raked if the wind don't take care of it for me.

Just take it easy and take your time. Don't fall or slip. Being this cold the salt issue I don't think comes into play. Just to cold to do much except sit there and look ugly.

    Morning all:
Just saw the temp. here, 1 deg. and calling for single digit lows for most of next week. Time to hibernate!

Hope Charlie is doing OK Mark, I would guess the tail is wagging is a good sign also.

I feel for you Mike, just wondering if they are going to have another large deer kill up in the North Maine Woods. I had mentioned it before that I stopped hunting up there shortly after they had a severe winter that killed off a lot of the herd.

Yea Paul, BE CAREFUL, bad enough with two good wheels. My Tacoma looks about the same--A MESS! I think they are using the extra gas tax money to triple salt the highways. :(

Couple days ago, went out to start the Chevy truck, barely turned over; nine plus yr. old batt., put a new one in. Went out to start the 66 chevy, barely turned over, 84 month batt. that's 5 yrs old, will try to charge that one. :annoyed: There just went the hibernating!:D

A guy plays hooky for a day and things go to hell. Today's forecast, clear, sunny, 'bout 60 and thinking the world has passed us old farts by. I was reading another thread and some people were actually arguing that it was acceptable for the media to lie to the public. What ever became of ethics?

For some reason update and China don't sound right together. Update usually means a improved piece. Just to bad the all mighty buck and the gov laws and taxes let everything go and get built across the water.

-6 right now. Going get ready to head out. All I can say is the idiots that put lift kits in their trucks are going to get a rude lesson today. I have two coming in for
    Front diff noises.
    Be safe and stay warm

    Morning all:
Did go ice fishing yesterday, but waited till it warmed up to around 8 deg.
Couldn't do too much all morning, couple dink yellow perch, but later on I caught a couple of nice white perch. Actually it wasn't that bad, didn't even take the shelter and heater and fished from around 8:00-2:00.
Figure: I might as well do what I do---while I still can!

I have all ways wanted o go ice fishing. sadly the lakes don’t freeze over enough if at all here. suppose to get 4 to 7” tomorrow here. witch will shut everything down. lol guess i need to go get milk and beer today. but i have to wait till after 12pm.

I hope we get more snow that that and no ice. Ice and other drivers is what i worry about around here. I trust my self to drive in the snow and knock on wood have never had a problem. Even busting thru 3’ deep snow drifts.
