Saw a sick 4runner and 2nd gen Tacoma parked outside Tokyo Joe's near the capital around 5:15.

The Tacoma was lifted had a bed rack and rotopaxes on it. Was it you? Beautiful looking truck.

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
Well I felt pretty accomplished today, got a few things done that I have been meaning to.

First I cranked my coils up about a 1/4 in to fix the settling I had from putting my bumper, skid plates and sliders on.

    Before
    [IMG]

    After
    [IMG]

Now the rack is not huge and it looks a lot better.

The last thing I got done was mount my rotopax, fire extinguisher, and eyelets to my tool/parts box.

I would have got the truck waxed today but I helped Squeaky Penguin go get some leaf pack so he could build a set and the temperature did not want to stay consistent.

Nicely organized! Watch the latch on the fire extinguisher. It broke on me. Ended up using a quick fist for a power tank on it now. Works perfect!

How accessible is that in the case of fire? I put pad locks on my gate and the tire blocks the window from opening too, so getting to it would be my problem.

This is a good point. My Scout, the fire extinguisher is mounted right to the floor in front of the driver seat. Tacoma has nothing atm.

I have wheeled once with a guy and his Jeep caught fire under the hood, It was beneficial to get to the extinguisher right away.

Very good point. Mine is in the bed next to the tailgate and is not locked down. Drop the tail gate unlatch the extinguisher and go assist.

So I ran into an issue with welding my cage mounts on. On the rear end, passenger side my upper shock mount is in the way. I'm going to trash those when the time is right. But the way I have the cage mount set up I need to weld it right where that shock mount is. Can I cut that passenger side shock off and still drive the truck without the shock? Dose it create axle warp if I'm only running a shock on one side. Or do I have to cut the shock off and relocate it and weld it back on? I'll go take a pic and update this.[IMG][IMG]

You'll be fine with one shock. It just bounces a little.
