Looks good, Mike. Kudos on going with Intercos, but I gotta ask: Why Thornbirds? And why the #%^&@& ]-[377 are they mounted white letters out?

Also, are you going to save yourself some heartache and take the flares off before Citrus, or are you going to let the T-birds eat'em?

 

Thanks brother and I know they ride kinda rough but I've always liked how they looked so I figured I'd give them a try also I just finished taking off my flares but I'm still gonna need to trim some out of my fender and bumper

 

when i buy my tires, im just getting new fenders as well...so I wont have to chop up the stock fenders lol. those tires look mean though

 

Rgr that. They do look good. It's just that back in the day (when they had only been out a couple of years) the word was they weren't terribly impressive performance-wise. About the same as a BFG M/T, but no where close to a Swamper (except they wear just as quick), so I've never really been inclined to consider them even if they do look badass.

On the plus side, maybe they won't head straight to China the minute you even think about spinning a wheel in the sand like my LTBs do. I'm also curious if they have any better lateral stability with those long center tread blocks than Swampers.

 

Haha, at least we'll have some interesting tire porn out there this year instead of just the standard M/T and A/T fare. Me with my LTBs, Mike with his Thornbirds, Guy with his MTRs, Lifetolive with his Nitto Mud Graps...

 

Those tires are going to get caked up bad.
