Yup, under the bed off the frame. It was ripping the front core support on mine so it was an easy decision to move it.

I left my interior lights on and beat a diehard up up. I told the guy at sears what had happened and he prorated me a new one after it showed low on testing. I couldn't complain about that...
I use the big P2/group 65 battery with this box. At the time is was the only box but I am sure there are cheaper or better ones for the Odyssey PC1750

Your red top could be fine. Its a deep cycle so if you're trying to recharge it and it appears dead, try hooking a second battery too it and then recharging it for about 4 hours. Then take the other battery off and just let the red top charge.

that said, i prefer the yellows over the reds as the yellows take abuse much better. Red tops do not like being drained and recharged a lot.

My red top is going on 5 years. Had 2 red tops in the boat, both lasted the 5 years I had the boat. Heard the new ones are not nearly as stout.

I read the same thing on a few boards. They were once really good, but now not as reliable. The odyssey is however still well regarded it seems, but I'm not paying those prices when the diehard planetariums are the same thing. I paid $220ish for a giant sized high end battery. The no fuss warranty that came with it is just icing on the cake.

Or a pitman puller is what I'd suggest.

Thanks for the quick responses. I ended up trying something that worked out well. I put the castle nut half way back on and jacked up the arm by that nut to put alot of force on it. A couple taps with a hand sledge to the control arm cup shocked it loose and it popped. Easy peezy, but it just stumped me good lol.

I use this pitman puller (incorrectly thought it was call a ball joint puller) usually but Matts lower arms are too beefy for it to fit. Still loving this MCM kit! Its just so much fun to drive the truck now. Thanks again!

where is the slop coming from? The people I know who welded the slip joint, tracked down there slop to that. The rag joint shouldn't have slop but is has give to it by design.
