Nice. Where do you hike/climb and stuff?

Yup, everything on my truck was done by myself with help from 4Plumber (Black 4runner on base all modded) Except for mounting tires and shit like that!

And the build thread isn't quite up to date... my damn dog ate the SD card for my DSLR so i don't have any good pictures of anything recent..

So far in NM I have really only been hiking as I haven't found anyone who wants to climb. But I have been hiking, in Taos up Wheeler Peak, Sandia Mts, Cloudcroft, and then down south in Carlsbad caverns and the Guadalupe Mts, and I have been over to Palo Duro a couple times as well.

Before I moved here, I was stationed in Little Rock and would going climb a lot there, in Jamestown or Horseshoe Canyon.

That's awesome! I unfortunately did not do a lot on my own on the old truck but my plan is to do as much myself on the new one.

And that sucks what kinda dog is it?

Little rock had lots of places to climb that's for sure.

Nice, how's Wheeler peak? Ive been meaning to bag that one.

Ive mostly stuck to the Sangre De Cristo's in Santa Fe and Santa Fe Baldy so far for backpacking and stuff. Been to Carlsbad probably 5 times, i was just there yesterday as a matter of fact! Palo Duro is nice also.

She's just a red rick coonhound. A really dumb one..

Yes, it did! I should have climbed more... :(

Wheeler Peak was awesome! I hiked up to Williams lake then up the side so it was short but very steep the view was a great though and the beer on top. There is another trail up to the top, I was thinking of maybe snowshoeing up, I think it was called Bull of the woods. It follows up the ridge line from Taos ski valley.

I have been to Santa Fe a few times but have not ventured up in the mountains near there at all, would definitely like to though.

I don't think I have ever seen a red rick coonhound before...

Haha I think he meant red tick. My garage is open for any time you wanna do some mods. I like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable and I'm always willing and wanting to wrench on things! Here's my runner as it sits now in case you were wondering. BIG MODS COMING SOON!!!

Yeah, I figured that after using the ole google machine, and yeah I would definitely be down for some mods but probably wont happen till I get back from my deployment that starts at the end of March... and idk yet when I will be back.

Its a nice looking 4runner btw, and what do you mean by BIG MODS????

Haha already ordered are my rear bumper and sliders and next month when my school issues my Pell Grant refund I'll be ordering wheels, a roof rack about a month later, followed by skids. Then I'll be going and getting back from my deployment and I'll buy some taller tires and finishing touches. Should be done with big purchases for my build by the end of summer!

Hopefully BFG will be making KM2's in 255/85r16 again by the time I get back if they don't then I'll be going with KM2's in 285/75r16. And the bumper is what I'm super stoked about! It's made by CBI Offroad Fab!

Hey, ran into the great pear, last week he said you guys were putting on a rear bumper, how did that go? Also, was curious if any of you would like to go to the dairy on Sat? I haven't been yet and it will be my last chance before I head down range.

It went well I'd say! This is also my last free weekend before deploying! I would love to go but I think me and the wife are gonna try to go somewhere.

Hey you guys back? I have been lazy and still haven't done shit to my truck... :( Was looking at getting some KO2's, Suspension or a bed cap? Trying to figure out what to do first... also any of you got any recommendations on which brand of cap? there are a shit ton out there it seems, and I don't have a lot of experience with them and I might get that first because the wife wants a roof top tent... score!

Hope you guys are doing well!

Hey. For caps do research and what your going to get. Some members been having issues with Snugtop and their customer service is crap. Also member 4Plumber has passed away recently due to unexpected health issues. It was hard on many but hell never be forgotten. The other member with the decked out white taco got orders over seas.

What??? I did not know that about 4Plumber, I had not meet anyone in person yet, as everyone was gone or busy. That sucks, I am sorry to hear that. Did you know him well?

As well as for the Pear, I guess he got lucky to get out of here...

I was looking at Leer, have you heard anything about them?
