On impulse I stopped in a locally owned tire shop. I priced some BFGs but I knew I wasn't ready to spend $1100+. The guy told me about General Tire's Grabber AT2. And at $680 I was sold. 265/75r16

I have a 3" leveling kit ready to go on. But once it goes on my truck I can't fit in my garage anymore. It's too cold to put it on outside.

Just installed trd sport coils to replace my off road coals. Can't tell much of a difference right now because we just got lots of snow.

Also retrofited an ebay camera into my tail gate handle to replace a defective stock camera.

Installed a set of anzo headlights, and put my horns and temp sensor back into the front behind the grill. I had moved them into the engine compartment when I did my satoshi and the temp was always reading hotter than it actually was.

I did all this in my non paved drive way in -16 (-24c with wind). I feel I accomplished a lot. Now I'm just waiting on my projectors so I can retrofit these anzos.

Driveway work at -15 kinda sucks. I know that pain, and it makes your mods more impressive!

Idk if anyone cares or if anyone who has helped me before will read this, but u just want to say thank you to everyone on this site who is helpful and kind enough to answer questions and take time to explain things to others. It's very commendable and very appreciated and not just by me. Many of you have saved me money and I've learned a lot about my skills and what I can do on my own as a DIY mechanic, something I've always wanted to do and know about. Just nice to know they're many good people still in the world, and a lot seem to drive Tacomas!
Anyway, thanks everyone and keep it up. I've made some good friends on here.
    This ends my random rant.

Got my newly rhino lined SOS sliders installed, and a bit of bling. Hopefully the topper shows up this week or early next week so I can get that taken care of.

I took a bunch of photos of the slider install so I'm going to update that thread with a bit of a 'how to'.

Looks great! I love my SOS Sliders. Almost seems like I use them as a lift point more often than not.

It wasn't that bad, I was wearing all my snowmobiling gear, minus the helmet. That and some mechanix gloves and I stayed warm. I was actually sweating for the most part from reefing on ratchets.

Well someone stole my Antenna X "Stubby" if that counts.. F'ers.

I bought a new one but they broke it off, so screw is stuck down there for now.

Drove the family out to the desert to play in the dirt, see the flowers bloom, and swam in a nice pool.

Put a light bar in my hood scoop using the bracket from C4 Fabrication. It's my first major mod and I'm pretty pleased with the results so far.
