Yup, 720p at 240 fps, auto rotate for upside down capturing, plus turning your time lapse photos directly to video without post production editing.

    That's the main updates anyway.

Finally got a Gopro today and was wondering what type of mounts do you all use to record your Tacoma off road? Figured I would buy the flex clamp and the suction cup to start with. Ready to start filming.

I have a bunch of the hard mounts mounted on my truck. I think I bought 2 or 3 bags of mounts. I have them on the bumpers the dash and topper. I also have the jaws flex mount and handlebar mounts come in handy too. I like the adhesive mounts the best on the truck. I just feel more secure with them. Tough call which is best as they all are handy. Also look on youtube for DIYgopromounts

Agreed. The adhesive mount will probably be the best bet, at least for underbody. The suction is great for body panels and glass. Gotta make sure the surface is good and clean though.

Excellent video brother! I enjoyed watching all of it. I really need to invest in a drone. Still in the research phase at the moment.

Not sure I'm ready for the level of copter you have right now. I want one badly but I need to learn how to properly fly one and feel comfortable with it first.

My wife bought me a decent, but still cheap, copter with a built in camera, for Christmas. I am finally able to fly it around the house with out hurting any plants, pets, or children. I have tried to take a few pictures, but it shoots in the blind, so I have gotten the top of my son's head in one picture, but that's it.

I need a LOT more practice before I consider spending the $$$$ on a good copter and putting my GoPro on it.

That's kind of where I'm at right now. I have NEVER flown one and I can see me dropping a couple grand on one and burning it into the side of the house on the first flight lol. Thought about buying a cheaper one just to get the feel and used to the controls (though I'm sure they all control differently) before going all out with a really good one. I've got places that I would love to take one but my ability vs cost are not on par with each other at the moment.

I have a DJI Phantom 2. I'm still working on learning to fly it. I'm pretty good at it until I turn it backwards. I went straight into a bush the other day and broke two blades :anonymous: They say to do at least 10 hours of flight before you put a GoPro on it. I still need to buy a gimbal for it and I'm also going to get a cover for the lens on the gopro.

I'm still nervous but I'm excited to start filming with it.

I think you're going about it the right way. 10 hrs of learning just the basics seems like a good plan.

I need a wide open field covered with babies for a soft landing in case I crash so I won't do any damage to the copter.
