Completely stock with P255/75R17 Duratrac

 

What? Goodyear makes the DuraTrac in 255/75R17 now? I like that size! How long have you had them? Likes/dislikes?

 

-Yes 255/75R17 readily available.

-Only had them less than a week

not enough time/experience to give real opinion on likes or dislikes:
-In the looks department my truck actually looks like a truck now, hard to believe that a simple tire change can transform the attitude/personality of a vehicle.
-They have traction far beyond the stock dunlop as i've managed deep snow (10" or so) in 2WD where prior to the change I would have absolutely needed 4WD.
-I would have thought I'd experienced some roll because of the taller sidewall but to my surprise they feel and handle like the stock, maybe better but I'll wait for hot summer day to make that claim a solid confirmation.
-Initially they are pretty loud, I didn't expect a highway tire sound level, but also didn't expect a full on mudder sound either. Thankfully after about 50 miles they've calmed down to the level that i imagined? strange yet true that they changed and yes my imagination is that good

 

Must be cause they're super white Tacomas...
