Left work at 3am. Picked up some small groceries on the way home in preparation for this snow/ice mix were gonna get starting about noon today.
Probably get a free nite off with no pay.

The no pay sucks but having a snow day would be nice now and then. I am mission essential so have to be here no matter what.

 

Is it me, or do weekends go by faster when you're on 3rd shift?

We keep extra on hand. Just in case, and so we don't have to battle crowds

 

Checking in mid-way thru my 4-day holiday break. Still manage to be wide awake at 2AM despite staying up all day yesterday.

No pay sucks, but probably better to stay off the ice. Snow is one thing, but that ice shtuff sucks, regardless of how well your rig is outfitted. If it's not ABSOLUTELY required to be out in/on it, I stay home myself.

Plus, you don't need any slips/falls on that crap. Speaking of, how's the hip feeling, stronger little by little I hope?

Seems like it to me. If my every break was only two days, it'd get old fast. Every other break is 3 days for me, those feel decent, but the two day breaks go in a wink it seems. Again this year the Monday Federal Holidays are lining up with my 3 day breaks turning them into 4 days.

The pay doesn't bother me. I could just take a vacay day to cover it.
And yea Rob, seems like 3rds do make the weekends go way faster.

Meanwhile...No snow or ice here yet. High of 22/low of 11 on thursday.

 

Yep! They pulled the stent out a week ago. Within a day everything was back to normal, and pain free!!

 

Plants closed. One of the very few times in history it has.

Rob: I didn't get the whole story on what was going on with the stent. Where do that put that? If I remember correctly, my granpap had one behind his left ear I think inot his skull.
Is it to drain fluid?

The stent went from my kidney (where the stone was) to my bladder. They put it in for healing then pull it out after a week. Removal took less than 5 min.

 

damn. I hurt reading that.

 

Kidney stones suck balls. I'm quite happy that for as much iced tea that I drink I've only had one relatively tiny stone (which was freaking bad enough!).
