I've read some reviews but I thought I'd take it to the real professionals over here at TW. Anyone have these tires or ran them before? How is the tread life on these? They are 265/75/r16s and used, about 75% tread left. Asking price is $400. This will be my first set of used tires so I'm a little nervous about spending the cabbage if this deal is no good.

it may be a good deal....maybe not. price may not be bad....but you never know if the tires are gonna balance good(may be outta round) and whatnot, so im gonna say, i dont think i'd give $400 for a used set of tires....just my .02 though.

I thought the same, but went against my gut on this one and bought them. They balanced out great, look great, and so far I like them. Not the best street tire in the rain, I almost put myself into a wall going around a corner on wet pavement, but I sure looked good while I fish-tailed all over the road!

I was gonna suggest the Nitto tera Grappler all terrains. I paid $600 for that same size brand new installed.

That sounds like a good deal. But the $200I saved on my set is enough to buy me a cheap 3" procomp lift. I hear the Grapplers are a nice tire though.
