    Hi all,
Help me out. Is the dash kit on Scosche.com (#TA2052B) OK to use for a 2010 Tacoma. What about the TACO_DASH1_T or DASH-SINGS models that are listed on *********.com. None of the places I was able to reach could verify whether or not they fit as they don't have much info on 2010 models. I was hoping someone on here could tell me so I can order the correct one...and soon. Thanks in advance.

not an expert here but from having a 2009 & a 2010 I would say they look exactly the same, all the parts I have ordered so far are for a 2009...we will see Friday if they fit :)

The only difference between the 2009 and the 2010 are the front cup holders...you won't have any problems.

Yeah I like the 09 cup holders, I could fit my Monster drinks in there...now I have to pull the rubber insert out...

I have the Metra kit and it works really well but it was a SERIOUS pain in the A$$ to put in. The holes on my Alpine head unit didn't match up with the holes on the factory metal mounting plates. After messing with it for a couple of days I ended up taking it to Cartoys and had them mount it. They charged me $50 to do it and it was the best $50 I ever spent. They thought I just didn't know what I was doing and that it would take the guy 10 minutes but 2 hours later he finally had it done and said that it wasn't easy to do and that he almost decided to make me custom mounting brackets. They ended up having to drill new holes in the factory bracket, but it looks good now and it's solid in there!

I really wish someone would make a kit that keeps the border around the clock and button, in the texture of the metra kit, while still having the little divots across the top.

If you are referring to mine and you like that look I got my kit at Crutchfield's with the Alpine head unit. The textured dash is part of the kit. When you remove the factory radio that part of the dash goes with it.

The factory dash is different than the metra dash. The metra one is missing the frame around the clock area and the three identations at the top of the factory dash.

No, the Metra kit comes with a new face plate.

Is the Metra single DIN also the same as that you posted above as far as color?

Not sure about the single din kit but I would guess there would just be a black pocket under the stereo and that the dash color and texture would be the same. I believe when I ordered mine I could get it in the textured silver or flat black.
