Friday I caught a rock on the windshield that gave me a circle chip about the size of a dime in the lower left quadrant of my driver's view. Today Safelite came out did an acrylic repair on the spot. Not perfect, but much better than before. And it should reduce the chance that it spreads to a crack. USAA paid for it in full with no deductible. With all the vets on this board, I imagine there are a lot who are USAA members. I highly recommend this service.

Go to www.safelite.com and schedule a tech visit. They come out to your house and handle filing all the paperwork with USAA. Simple as pie.

I second this. Not a Vet but I have State Farm and only had to pay $50 for an entire new windshield. Crack was about 2-3 inch long and they came to my work and did it in the parking lot.

    Very Satisfied.

I love USAA. Have my banking through them and did have insurance but ended up dropping the insurance since they didn't want to decrease my rate even tho I had them for 4.5 yrs. Did get a chip fixed while I had them tho

Been with USAA as a bank and auto insurance for 25 years. (Got it from my old man but I was navy from 99-09). Safelite just replaced my wife's windshield but she saw waviness in the glass. Safelite was hesitant to check it out but once I got USAA involved they changed their tune. USAA is a wonderful company and I whole heartedly recommend them.:D

Installed my under hood LED strips tonight. Used a mercury switch and ignition power so they only come on when the key is on and the hood is open.

Took it Mall Crawlin' in the snow for the first time. :D

We rarely get snow that amounts to anything so 2 to 4 inches is a pretty much a blizzard. The schools usually close before the first flake hits the ground. (seriously)

Yeah that's pretty much a blizzard for Va Beach.
I was there for seven years and I think this pic was the second biggest snowfall I saw there. (I think it was '05 or '06)
Always a good time finding an empty lot and doing some donuts.
