Wait they closed 6200 all the way to the road? That's one of my favorite shooting spots. Can really get some range up there. I can attest to it being torn up, at least by assholes who don't pick up their shells, targets, couches, back seat out of a mini van....

I'm new here BTW. Just picked up my new truck a few weeks ago. Looks like you guys do some fun stuff. Hopefully I can join in before long.

Found a nice house. Beautiful view. Decent neighborhood, freshly remodeled.

Flow sucked, no garage, steep driveway :( and over priced.

Yes they did, my friend sent me this yesterday

    F637D27A-2412-4B78-B304-34ED4402DACC_5d75a4decabd859bd74efe415f674ff5c0a61d34.jpg

I used to go shooting up there all the time and camp at the lake. I have a feeling someone will tear down the "walk in access only" signs but I don't think ill go up, not worth a ticket. Know that road like the back of my hand, and there is a really cool secret little hike up to a ridge that is perfect to view the sunrise of the valley.

    And welcome!

Yup, don't go up Sultan Basin road to go shooting. Not only will the nudist camp complain again to the city but a cop goes up there often and actually enforces it.

Ha, well I did post my BFGs in the part swap thread. Anyway, been busy trying to figure out what I'm gonna do with this sweet new truck. Can't just leave it alone. I have the sickness. So far got some 75s and floor mats. Snugtop and retrofits are on order. Thinking I will need some icon aals. Even just a little weight in the back and the squat makes me cringe. I'm thinking just the weight of the canopy will make the rear sit too low.

FNG here, just got my first tacoma last weekend. 06 dbl cab, TRD 4x4. I've owned several 1st gen pickups (79-83) but have been driving a civic for the last few years. I almost forgot what its like to look down on other cars while driving until now. I'm in the king county area. I found this forum while looking up CEL codes.

Tons of you go far enough back. I don't remember any no shooting signs but the place is patrolled by cops. The roads go so far back though you could spend a week back there and not get to the end of them all.

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Link didn't work for me. If you want people to keep an eye out for parts, you need to tell them what it is you are looking for:

Aztecs needs a 4.10 Front Diff. (Reverse clamshell 3rd)

WHAT?! How do they stay warm?! WHAT!? You weirdo west-siders :p
:woot: Yeah... that's seems the only downfall to modding a pro... so much money just to start taking off all the stuff you paid extra for...

Well I came close to breaking even on the tires minus the cost of install, so I'm doing ok so far. None of the other mods I have planned in the short term involve throwing away anything I paid extra for. I'm not intending to do anything serious to the suspension except probably aals like I mentioned. At least until I get everything else sorted out that I want to do. Now if I had just got the OR, I probably would have skipped right over the 5100s and gone straight for the fancier stuff. So it could be argued that the pro is actually SAVING me money (saving me from myself?). How's that for logic?

If anyone is interested myself and a couple friends are going to go camping this weekend at "french cabin creek" out by Salmon La Sac. we'll be wheeling around his raptor and my taco. its going to be sunny and 50 out so we're going to start the spring camping season early.
