We wanted an Access Cab because thats what we had in our '97 Taco. We searched for a month or so with no luck, and finally a dealer was able to get one ordered in from a partner dealership that he exchanged with a ordered dual cab from his dealership. It took a week to get here from SC. I've had it now about three weeks.
Bought my 2015 Access Cab 4x4, SR5 Extra trim package, Entune plus, Backup Camera, tow package, V-6, 5 speed for 31,800 + TTL and Fees. No Trade In, $8K cash, and negotiated a finance deal down to 1.29% for 5 years. My wife is one tough negotiator. I'd taken the 3% they first offered.

So far I love the new truck, but kind of miss my old '97 which I handed down to my youngest son. I know he will baby it like I did, so it found a good home.

Getting quotes on a Super White, DC, TRD Sport Long bed with navigation and this description of tow package -
    Towing Package
    • Class IV Hitch
    • Transmission Oil Cooler
    • Supplemental Oil Cooler
    • 130 Amp Alternator
    • HD Battery
    • 7-Pin Connector w/Converter
    • Trailer Sway Control

Per sales department email: "MSRP of this truck is $34,535 but I can offer it to you for $31,447 plus taxes and $499 dealer handling"

My brother in law (former salesman) says the dealer handling fee is BS. No trade or financing. Can I get them lower?

Dealer handling or paperwork fee is highly negotiable and they're more likely to give it up if you pressure them to close the sale at the end of the month. February is only 28 days so they're already losing on 3 days of possible sales and commission. It also falls on a weekend when nobody wants to be working so I'd say you're in a good position to get it taken off.

I'm at $31,300 OTD for a Silver, DCSB, V6, TRD Sport 4x4 with Entune Plus, All-weather mats, Tow Package, and the clear paint protection for the doors. ($30,599 before dealer fee and TTL. Tax is only $300 here in SC).

Sound good? From what I can tell, it seems like a decent price. I am getting what I wanted for my trade-in as well.

I got my first Taco last Thursday (I have previously owned a '93 Toyota Pickup, and an '06 Tundra, loved both of them). My truck is a black 2015 Access Cab, V6, 4x4, manual transmission w/Etune Audio Plus, SR5 Extra Value Package, Tow Package, all weather floor mats and door sill, and exhaust tip. MSRP $30,585. I got it for $28,847.84 ($50 above dealer invoice) + sales tax, doc fee, and title fee. I was also able to get KBB excellent condition value for my trade which was most definitely not in excellent condition.

All in all, I am pretty happy with the deal that I got.

Picked up a 15 Silver Sky TRD Sport DCLB with Entune and Tow Package for $33,388.xx OTD. I am happy with what I paid. I feel like maybe I could have done $500 better but it was the only Silver Sky DCLB I could find in the area.

First Tacoma and first time I bought new, very happy with the purchase. 23,240 before trade on a 2015 mgm access cab 4 cyl 5 sp 4x4 with utility package. Sticker was 24,240. Almost no options except door sill protectors. Got a set of all weather floor mats, backup camera, bed cargo net and mat on ebay shortly after purchase. Traded a 2006 Chevy Colorado single cab 4 cyl 5 sp 4x4 that I bought slightly used in 2007. Had a lot of issues with it over the years, but still wanted to see what the new Colorado was like. Test drove it and saw the sticker price, and immediately went to a few Toyota dealerships. Lost a few mpgs, the only positive thing I can say about the old colorado. Only have 2,100 miles since my purchase on Black Friday, but a huge upgrade over the Colorado.

2015 Access Cab SR with convenience package 2.7L 4x4 5MT with carpet floor mats. Sticker $27,475. Sale price of $26,600 plus sales tax and registration fees. No added dealer fee. Out the door price was $28,2xx. Can't remember exact number.

It had to be ordered so my negotiation wasn't as strong compared to a truck they had on the lot. Seemed every V6 4x4 would have been over $32k out the door.
