What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Took it to the dealer...for a loud "growl" from the blower motor when on the high fan setting...Dealer said impeller was cracked and spinning out of round...They replaced the whole blower motor assembly....
also had the plugs changed while I had it there (30k)...What a difference !! -totally smooth & peppy now...they replaced using all DENSO plugs.....

 

Nice. What's the weight? Did it make the truck squat at all?

I walked to work today. Accountant called and said his z71 Colorado was stuck and he needed me to go pick up the payroll. So I walked back home, got my truck, went and picked up the payroll then went and played a little driving back and forth over the spots other employees truck's couldn't make it through just to show them Tacoma capability. It's a good day to own a 4wd with good tires.

 

Not sure on weight and I forgot to measure up to fender before install...I can't notice a difference.

 

This is killing my OCD... is this slightly crooked or just the picture?

 

My biggest issue with those were getting the damn bulbs out... but youre right... huge difference, and already came in handy many times

To give him benefit of the doubt, it might be straight and level relative to the ground if the truck has the stock 2" of rake.

YUP !! they better !! and btw: the wiper motor had to be replaced last yr under warranty.....so much for toyota quality...
