    It will have to be a "double-blind" study.

    Sunday afternoon should be good for me. Anytime after 12.

    That's a really cool build he did, I debated going that route when I started researching my trailer build but decided not to. Still a pretty awesome idea though, especially for someone with no welder available, that could probably be done with some pretty basic tools.

    Yeah, I just want something to take to the beach or on the occassional camping trip. Nothing too hardcore. If I do go abiut doing this, the only welding I would do would he some reinforcement and tie-down points...things of that nature. Depending on what the springs are like.....maybe some blocks :D

    It would leave the hed open for tue dog, or whoever may be annoying us in tue cab.

    Yeah some re-inforcement would really be all thats needed, here is another cool idea for trailer build like that, http://tventuring.com/trailerforum/thread-118.html, a bunch of drilling and bolting and very little welding. I think the springs on those are SOA so some matching tires to your truck would probably get it a pretty good height.

    I just realized that you built a trailer:goingcrazy:

    The only major mods that I may do to a trailer build of mine would be;
    A stronger axle
    Reinforcements
    Beefier springs(for some reason, being Mexican means hauling ALOT of concrete.....often)

    I also want to be able to use it for everyday things.

    Reinforcing is a must:thumbsup:

    I am just changing out my leaf spring pack on the truck, should be pretty straightforward since they are already assembled and even have the stock spring hanger on them.

    Haha yeah, I'm about 75% done with it. I scored my axle (3500lb), springs and all of the mounting hardware from southwestwheel in Dallas for right at 250 shipped. I went with the stronger axle after reading through BoxRockets trailer build and his reasoning behing it; also this trailer will be hauling my 4wheeler pretty often as well and its a pig.

    Devin is this towards Sigs bday comment or the time for the mod day, it can be any time after 12, just show up when you want :D

    Can't. Either I'll be doing a 65M bike ride, or getting together with my folks for lunch.
