    But without access to the ECU internal tables and calcs, isn't this just unusable info? We can make guesses, but without access that's all it is.

    Well its a land Cruiser with a diesel so I've got that going for me.
    I don't see where these are $40... I am game to try one. Website has them for $50.

    Maybe quirt can point me in the right direction. Would be happy to do a decent writeup on it for here.

    You can with an expensive scan tool. Not sure if those can show graph data which can be copy and pasted to the internet, and easily read by the average Joe? I have a feeling that there are the capabilities though.

    With his X-1, it can easily be done, and with the UCON as well i believe.

    It would be easy on Lucario's X-1 to show as many or as few parameters on a graph. A few being: load, MAF g/s, AFR's, and timing.

    From a before and after points of reference, it could be easily seen the differences, while mimicking the same driving pattern and style. Sound information.

    Will the X-1's/UCON 's adaptive features correct and hide any noticeable differences? The datalogs would show. Just need to perform multiple driving tests of different loads, to verify.

    If it shows a difference it shows a difference. Obviously, mods would have to be listed.

    I'm interested to hear from pelople who actually install and use this. A gain of even 1 mpg would be worth $40 imo.

    Objective data would be so much better than subjective assessments. Too bad good consistent data is so hard to get.

    Not sure how your dyno works, but I don't believe an auto 2nd gen Tacoma can be locked into a gear such that you can get a good pull in the 1:1 gear.
