    If you register now it's $120, if you register at the gate it's $140. I've never heard of them cutting the price. It includes paying for the dinner Saturday night, t shirt, camping spot, park fees (they shut the park down to the public for this event), and all the other costs that go into having a big event like this.

    Saw the slider discussion. I have a set of Avid slider/steps (light duty) that I purchased when I wasn't sure if I could attach something to my frame. If I could find someone to modify them for bolt-on, I'll modify and keep them. If not, I'll sell them and buy some Pelfry sliders. Anybody know a good fab guy in the Dallas area?

    Those look good. Did you bolt or weld on? I'd rather bolt, but I think I could be talked into welding. Just have to get the undercoat re-applied right.

    Mine are 4xInnovation bolt on sliders but I just had them welded on because I didn't want to take the time to drill 24 holes through my frame.

    That being said, I don't know that I would weld on if I had a 2013. But mine's an old POS that's going to be strictly for wheeling within the next year or so. So it didn't bother me at all.

    At this point I can't go back to stock; that was the hold-up in the past. Barbara King at Toyota of Dallas has her's welded on and she's pretty hard core - mocked me when I made mention of bolt vs. weld. I has humbled.

    Barbara's truck is pretty badass. I know a lot of people will say bolt on and non-DOM sliders are for mall crawlers and people that don't really wheel. But that's a bunch of shit. I bet no one on this forum would take their $35,000 truck that they paid for and wheel it hard enough to bend/break HREW bolt on sliders. They just try to turn everything into a dick measuring contest.

    I'm actually more scared of somebody totaling my truck on my 60 mile round-trip commute through Dallas traffic than of a few rocks. I have way more in this thing than I could ever get out of it. But it's fun!
