    I'm going to get in on the Radflo group buy for some front coilovers. I know not many on here talk about them but they are pretty popular w/ the FJ guys and Nissan peeps. The deal got sweetened and I think it's too good for me to turn down. Going to call Headstrong tomorrow. Can't afford anything for the rear right now so I guess I'll just use these to level right now. Don't want to go bro.

    I don't know if it's changed with maybe a redesign but I know of many problems people were having with premature wearing of components causing oil leaks and a lot of noises. I have also seen people on here run them and race them and seem to like them. They seem iffy to me. What are you paying?

    I'll be sure to inquire about a warranty. I didn't come across any of those complaints when searching the net. Saw some think Sway a Ways rust too fast (was looking at those too as both have 2.0 adjustable c/o)

    How do those ride? I was thinking more prog AAL eventually, but I was also thinking about a rear shock too (eventually).

    Oh they are 2.0s? You will end up selling those. Haha you have a big truck, comparably speaking with a 2.0 coilover. I wouldn't get stay-a-ways either. They are just cheaper shocks. They actually aren't bad, just cheaper. I don't recommend cheaper products

    Agreed with 2.0. Save your money and get 2.5. I had Fox 2.0 for a long time and don't ride nearly as good as my icons

    I'm going to see what I can drum up about the leaking. The 2.0s are bigger than the 5100s everyone runs. I just don't think I need the 2.5s.

    Everyone seems to like the way they ride. I have 2 in mine to get 5 inches of lift in the rear. It is a crap shoot how much lift you get though out of each spring. It would definitely be a trial and error thing but they are here if you decide it.

    It's just the shock size as it is also spring size. The bigger diameter the shock body is, the more oil it will hold yielding better overall performance capabilities. The heavier the truck, the harder you work the shocks. Bigger shocks are always better. The spring itself though is what holds up the weight of the truck. 2.0 coilovers use a smaller overall diameter spring meaning they will also work harder to hold your truck up. I also don't think they make a spring rate higher then a #600 for a 2.0. Should be fine for a stock v6 but if you ever add weight then you will want at least a #650 spring.

    You have to get a custom spring made of you really add any weight

    It does come with 600# Eibach springs but they do offer 650#. I did find some forums mention the leaking but they were about 5-8 years old and most of the newer posts indicated this was more of a 2.5 problem and was supposedly fixed.

    Yeah I don't know within about the past 2 years but a lot of their shocks are passed through the masses with the pre runner guys and they all seemed to have the same problems ..... Rust and premature parts breakdown. I'm not talking you out of them. There are a lot of good products that are on the cheaper list that aren't cheap parts. But suspension parts are really one of those things that you get what you pay for. The more they cost, the better they are. Not many random dudes sitting in their garage making shocks and selling them for half price just cause they don't have a known name. Haha so how much more are the 2.5s? Should only be a couple hundred more. Unless you just don't have it, I would only buy 2.5s

    2.5s will last longer, fade less quickly, ride better, support more weight, have more spring options, look sexier and just suite your truck better.

    2.5 > 2.0

    You got my opinion

    Fat Bobs Garage? Seen them on EBay. I hear what you're saying, just seemed like the 2.0 would fit my needs a little more. Maybe not. I don't have extra weight not sure I'll ever have too much, at least not in the near future. Says they can do 95% of what the 2.5 can. I guess I have some more questions at this point.

Call DSMS or SDHQ and talk to someone there and ask what they recommend for your truck and what the advantages a 2.5 provides over a 2.0. Both companies have great people and should be happy to share info with you
