Yea same thing just non rigid brand. They were 75 bucks on Amazon. Great alternative for fraction of the price.

Edit: just looked at your linked. They aren't diffused. They're the 3x2 floods. The top and bottom rows are somewhat connected so the pattern is a wide angle flood. They work great for what I needed.

Do most of you wire a on off on switch to your lights?

Mine are right now, but I'm ordering a 3 way to have the option for them to be tapped into the reverse wire or on when I choose

I guess that's technically what I meant. My back up camera is on a 3 way switch, but it's just labeled in the store as an on-off-on switch.

Mine are. Either on with the switch, Off or on with the reverse gear.

I assume you had to run a wire all the way to the cab then? Man I hate doing that. What did you tap into for your power for normal 'on'?
Guess I'll have to tap into a reverse wire on my other light, cause I already have my camera tapped in on one side.

I put a relay under the hood with a fused wire direct to the battery. I then ran a wire to the switch and to the lights off the relay. I grabbed power to the switch from an open spot on the fuse box behind the little drawer in the cab and I grabbed the signal from the reverse gear from a wire behind the kick panel on the drivers side. The switch is a SPDT rocker switch. Running the wire from the relay to the back wasn't that big a pain since most of the frame is open. I put it in some wire loom and then zip tied up.

I just got some cheap flood beam 18w led's off of Amazon and mounted them in the pre-existing holes in the bumper, then I relocated my 7 pin for a more symmetrical look, I think it turned out well. I like the single row as opposed to the cubes as they don't stick out as much yet still put a LOT of light out.

That looks good. I was just thinking looking at your pic if there is room to mount lights in the space between the tailgate and bumper? If you had something slim and flush mount?

I wouldn't. Or rather, it wouldn't work. The reason for that void is for the lower edge of the tailgate to swing under when opened. I learned the hard way when I tried to put a backup camera in there. :anonymous:

The same shit everyone else has.
I like the idea of the hidden reverse lights.

Ive been wanting to do this for a while now, but hate how much the lights stick out when they are mounted below the bumper.

Ill have to mess around with this once it gets nicer out
