    Sorry I couldn't resist :)

The TSB is replaces a 3 leaf spring pack with a 4 leaf spring pack. So far it does not cover 2009 trucks

Do a search on this forum for "Leaf Spring TSB" you'll find tons of threadfs!

The suspension TSB will involve replacing the shocks in the front and rear, plus the rear leaf pack if your truck is non-TRD. They'll replace yours with the Bilsteins that come with the TRD trucks. TRD trucks only get the leaf spring replaced.

I was turned down before ... but they are doing the 2009s now. ... :D

I have a 2009 DCSB, TRD, OR, 4x2 (not 4x4) and got my TSB on the rear springs done two days ago.

The dealer replaced the rear springs (3 leaf) with the heavier duty 4 leaf pack. They also did an alignment. ... :D

The dealer did not replace my rear shocks since the Tacoma had the OEM Bilsteins on it.

I took it to World Toyota and it took me 3 times (talking to different people) to get my TSB done, even though I bought it there.

I just explained that is was a "safety concern" since it would be on the "frame bump stops" at approx. 400 lbs. of load.

Any dealer will do the TSB ... you just have to make your case on the 2009s, especially if it is a 4x2.

    Good luck .. SOS

PS ... I will say this ... IMO, World Toyota has excellent service.
