A blast to shoot and you can easily run through a couple boxes shells before you know it.

    .44mag, BTW.

Great gun. I've got one tucked away in the horde, but the last time it was out I had fun with it.

I've got the same light on my Springfield xd45 and love it. It's as bright as the sun when you blind yourself with it. Lights up as well as my old QBeam will.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.
Back in service. Pilfered the scope off it a while back when I sent it off to be threaded. New Sightron 3x9 and DNZ one piece mount.

    That thumbhole stock is nice.

Started life as a stainless Howa barreled action in .308w. Added the Boyd's furniture and the Wyatt box mag setup. The Redfield 6-18 is not quite as I had hoped for.

Thanks. Yours is equally thumbholey! What series is the Redfield?

Accu Ranger. It's a neat concept and works. But when I initially zeroed it in, I had crank the windage all the way from side to side and count clicks to zero. It was out of sight at 100 yards, or off paper at least until I did this.

So the windage wasn't set at zero from factory? Seems odd. Monday/Friday model maybe.

I did find it odd. But it was the first new scope I'd bought. I spoke to some guys at work and another had experienced the same scenario and took his back. The other had the .22/.223 Battlefield version and said it was spot on.
