Holy crap... Grinder and hours of beating and heating to get, the passenger side LCA (frozen cams) off, and LCA bushings w/sleeves out. Got everything back together then called it a night. Dragged my feet this morning because it was below 20* to get to work on the driver side. Expecting the worst I got the LCA off in just a few minutes. The driver side LCA cams and bolts look great!

How's this for an alignment, WTF. The tech was too worried about going home. Didn't touch caster like I asked to be maxed out as they only do stock numbers.

Saw you posted this on more than one thread and didn't get a response so here I go...
First, don't worry about it. Stay safe and get home in one piece!
Next, you are kinda asking a hard question cuz they are both awesome choices. Plenty of examples of both all over the place if you want to check em out for looks.
My vote would be the cap and RTT. That way you retain your entire bed and can secure stuff. Your gear doesn't get wet, and you can build a box or shelf to keep muddy stuff away from

Rack is probably lighter. Lower center of gravity. Could move your spare. Easier to get your gear. Just weld in what ever bracket or tie down you want. Easier to take the rtt off for hauling.

Check with Homer and see if he likes the handling.
If you get a cap I would look for big access doors, forget about windows unless you want the option to camp in it.

Goes into the close is good enough dept. How does it feel?

What's the point with all the lasers if you can eyeball it close enough?

I'm guessing you didn't do the lifetime alignment at firestone?

I did otherwise I wouldn't have left until it was done to my liking and was free. Going back in the am to have the other guy align it, we'll see if he's worth a damn.

And he is. John Olmo at Firestone on High House and Davis is the alignment man! He listened to what I was telling him about the aftermarket parts and got me the alignment numbers I am looking for. He came out before he was finished to show me where it was at and asked me if I was ok with it.

This is the third or fourth time catching this bugger. My apt maintenance people keep trapping it and dropping it across the street from our complex.. It's living in my awning..
