What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Aren't Depo units supposed to be the better of the two? Are they getting replaced under warranty every time?

The tech was too worried about going home.. I'm going back first thing in the morning so the "first line tech" can take a look. This "2nd line tech" was a shlub!

My thoughts exactly.

 

I had an alignment done at a Pep Boys once. When I brought it back a couple days later, the numbers were far worse on one adjustment than they were when I picked the truck up. I think the guy left something loose. I ended up getting another alignment from them for free and demanded my money back from the first one so I could take it to another shop to verify their work. I got it too.

I know your looking for subtle but I would have to agree. More strips. Right now it just looks like its light cast from the bottom light. Too subtle.

 

Amen. Just wish they were more visible during day still... of course, that's cause mine are behind the grill... which makes anything hard to see

Are you happy with the King springs? Which springs did you use?

 

Installed 30" light bar in lower valance. Used rigid brackets, Avec light bar. went pretty smooth. Great light bar!

1 inch longer than the icons, but a bit softer.

 

Got my alignment done with 1.85" of lift. No uca's, this is the best they could do.

 

I washed it and changed the oil.

 

And it is done. John Olmo at Firestone in Cary on High House and Davis is the alignment man! He listened to what I was telling him about the aftermarket parts and got me the alignment numbers I am looking for. He came out before he was finished to show me where it was at and asked me if I was ok with it.
