    Random thought and question guys..

On a 4 link rear, when the coil overs are on the trail arms, the closer to the axle, the more efficient they shocks are at dampening correct? but you can still run them further up the arm?

Correct, assuming they aren't laid over at a weird angle. 1:1 motion ratio is ideal, but most end up with 2:1 (half way down the arm)

Yes but it also causes more tuning issues. It's a lot easier to tune with them further up the links because it makes shaft speeds a little less. Mine are really close to the axle (dcsb) and I'm at a really light spring rate now because of it and you have to valve it a lot different then normal

1:1 isn't always the best thing, yes it makes the shock most efficient, but that also means you feel every single bump. When you have the shock up on the trailing arm, the shock is at a rising rate, so as you compress it more it gets stiffer and stiffer every inch

    cool thanks guys.

I was just looking at some setups and noticed placement is kinda all over. I'm wanting to put my coil overs almost right behind the cab...but kinda worried that might be too far up the trail arms.

Shitty pic, but just an update on McNeil fiberglass for anyone interested on how quickly they are getting glass out.

I ordered 3x3 fenders and their brand new 3x3 6ft flat top bedsides on 1/6/2015 and received everything on 2/17/2015. So, fairly quick in my book.

I will say getting an invoice from them was really difficult, and i never got a tracking number, i was checking in weekly for the invoice.

One more note, the packaging of it all wasn't very good. Lots of exposed areas, and glass on glass, which resulted in several scratches and spots worn through the gelcoat. All in all no cracks though and im happy i received them quickly and in decent shape.

Will update once installed and painted.

When I get a box and relocation kit for mine it's going passenger side by the front of the bed. Or under the bed.

Also anyone have a good battery relocation kit they like?

Better to weld a battery box to the frame/ bedcage. The bed starts to fatigue in a few areas around the box.

Mine will be in the bed on the passenger side in front of the wheel well (and under my toolbox). I'm building a sammich plate for that part of the bed out of 12 gauge I had laying around, and using a ballistic fab battery box that fits my Die Hard.
