    :D:D:D:D CAMPER SHELL ORDERED!!!!! :D:D:D:D

I ended up going with the ARE CX series with the carpeted ceiling and vented windoors on both sides. $1900 total. They install it, set up the third brake light, do the weather stripping, bulk head, etc etc. Im happy with my decision. Should be in on March 3rd..... and i cannot wait. Its exactly what I've always wanted. I will prob be redoing my rack set up.... bc a brand new cap can have an old rack on it.

Because i am getting a camper shell i have decided to list my allpro bed rack for sale. I have listed it locally with my club as well as on craigslist.

    FOR SALE:

Welded AllPro Bed Rack Long Bed. This rack was welded by AllPro to be just a hair under cab height. It will fit 05+ Tacoma Access cab, double cab long bed, or regular cab. It is great for work and play. I had it set up with a basket on top but it can also be set up to haul work equipment, rooftop tent set ups, cargo boxes. etc. Great for hauling kayaks, canoes, bikes, or whatever else you can thing to throw up there. It was professionally rhino lined locally and the lining is still in great shape. I bought the rack about a year ago. The rack is gusseted at each corner, has a passenger side CB antenna mount, and an extra "accessory" bar that was never used. The rack brand new was about $800. I am asking $500 for it. PM me if you are interested. I live in Youngsville, La. and am willing to travel a fair distance to meet or drop off the rack. Thanks

    Whats for sale......

Had a couple of little projects today........

Bumper lights..... KC slims that i took off of the bed rack installed in the grill hoop and some VisionX floods in the side wings of the bumper.

Seems like a little thing but I added an eye bolt to the ceiling to hang my CB mic. I have my CB mounted in the headliner and its a pain to reach back and grab the mic off of the radio. I have been leaving my sunglasses holder open and just hooking it on there but that's not really a permanent fix. Easy as drilling a tiny hole just above the sunglass case holder on the passenger side. Mounting an eye bolt..... and done. The little things are what make life easy

dude...... so excited about windoors. I ran into a guy in town who had em to stopped him to check em out. It is what solde on going get a new camper. I actually got the windoors with the sliding vents in them. They are called the "outdoorsman windoors." So i called a local camper shell place to see how much it would cost to replace the windows on a used camper with windoors....... $365 a piece :anonymous: :boom:
But if i ordered the camper with them windoors on it already it was only $125 a side. I know myself and if i would buy a camper without the windoors i would want them  so i did the math and went get a new one.

I have the extra vision model that snugtop offers. The glass on the sides is XL for better visibility and it actually curves up the sides. They said to fit windoors I would essentially have to cut up the shell and redo the fiberglass. Yeah not going to happen.

-Not a Taco mod but will help for future mods. :)) Installed a 4 bulb 48" light in place of the tiny decretive light in my garage. SUPER BRIGHT

-Started on my jerry can carriers for the rear swing out. I have a new found respect for fabricators. I am enjoying every moment of it but it is definitly challenging. Harbor freight does some super strong welds but man are they ugly. I dk if its the welder or the user but i have splatter all over the place.
