    looking at buying a shrockworks bumper in NOVA from a dude that had a body lift. I asked what needed to be done to fit stock and this is what he said:

    "The brackets are welded to the bumper for the height of my truck on the frame. The bumper will extend a couple inches beyond the stock fenders. Think of a dude with a huge handlebar mustache. You could grind the brackets back off the bumper for adjustability...and cut out the corners of the wings, bend them back and reweld for stock fenders...that's a lot of work...but if you have the tools, skills and time..."

    I asked for a picture of what exactly needed to be cut and he says:

    "Cut these out on both sides, top and bottom, bend wings back to original seam, weld them up."


    anyone got the skills/time to help me score a crazy deal? will pay in gum. :spy:

    oh, forgot to add that they extend past the stock fenders to accommodate his fiberglass fenders that he had on.

    I agree on Milwaukee power tools, some of the best, I have a Milwaukee right angle corded drill that was my Dad's. It may be older than me, lol. No that can't be, they didn't have electricity then. :eek:

    I do have a Ryobi cordless drill that is nice. Whatever you go with, definitely do Lithium Ion.

    So this bumper was built for a body lift and fiberglass fenders? Will it even mount on to a stock no body lift truck?
    And how much will you have to mess with/hack up the mount to make it work?
    Concerned about the structural integrity as a result of the rework...
